I like it, I especially like the brick work in the background. It looks like it is peeling... very dimensional. It looks like it was a lot of fun to create!
Hi there Faye! It's good to see you here again! This art challenge is a great way to make new blogging friends isn't it? :) Thanks so much for stopping by :D
Your faces are lovely!! We all have our challenges and I know I won't be able to get all 29 faces done in a month...but I do love the experience of trying and can always tell an improvement in my skill level at the end.
Hi Carol! How nice to see you here and thank you SO much for stopping by and following my little blog! :)And you are right it's always a good experience just to try and grow!and hopefully my sketching ability will improve despite the tremors :) Thanks again :)
I like her a lot Diane. And as the others have said the background is a wonderful texture. I like that you posted a face you yourself was not too happy with, I did that with my last one even though I think it is terrible it is my 2nd face for the challenge.
Thanks so much for stopping by Clare! Drawing/creating faces is NOT my strong suit and my tremor well that just complicates things; yet this is a journey & sometimes I'll create pictures fit for the garbage... but that's life, that's learning, & hopefully that's growing.

ReplyDeleteOh thanks Kristen, have to say the background is my favorite part too! :D oh btw, i am now following your blog! :)
ReplyDeleteShe looks a bit melancholy, but we can't be "up" all the time. It is a great sketch. And the background is wonderful.
